This site uses a small number of cookies. The ones needed to make it work are always on; anything else runs only if you say yes. Nothing non-essential is loaded before you make a choice.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels, and device fingerprinting — do the same job, and the rules below apply to all of them equally, not just to cookies strictly defined.

2. The Categories We Use

Strictly Necessary — Always Active, No Consent Required

These make the site function. Without them you could not log in, submit a form, or have your cookie choice remembered. They cannot be switched off.

Analytics — Consent Required

These help us understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck. They are not loaded unless you accept them, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.

CookieProviderPurposeDuration
No analytics cookies are currently in use. If we add any, this table and the consent banner will be updated before they are deployed.

Marketing and Advertising

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking cookies on this site. If that changes, we will add them here as a separate consent category and they will be off by default.

3. Form Security and Google reCAPTCHA

Protected public forms use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to assess whether a submission is likely to come from a person or an automated system. It may set strictly necessary security cookies or use similar storage and processes device, browser, interaction, and network signals. We use it only for security and abuse prevention, not advertising. Google's processing is governed by its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

4. Cookies Set During Payment

When you pay an invoice, Stripe sets its own cookies to process the transaction and prevent fraud. These are strictly necessary for the payment to complete. Stripe's use of them is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy, and they are set only on payment pages.

5. Managing Your Choices

You can change your decision at any time — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Use the “Manage preferences” option in the cookie banner, or clear the eg_cookie_consent cookie in your browser and reload this page to be asked again.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site working, including sign-in and form submission.

We honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser as a valid instruction to decline non-essential cookies.

When you make a choice we store the decision itself, the categories you accepted, the version of the banner shown, and the time. We keep that record for 12 months as evidence that we obtained and honoured a valid consent.

7. A Note on Regional Differences

Rules on analytics cookies differ between the UK and the EEA. We apply the stricter standard everywhere rather than varying behaviour by location, so every visitor gets the same choice regardless of where they are.

8. Changes to This Policy

We audit the cookies actually set by this site and update the tables above when they change. The last-reviewed date is at the top of this page. If we introduce a new non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent again before setting it.
